Blue Flag Capital Unveils Reimagined Beachside Hotel in Nantucket for Summer 2024

The island property is set to re-open as a family-friendly resort by the seaside

Blue Flag Capital is thrilled to announce the reopening of Beachside Hotel as a redesigned seaside family-friendly resort, set to welcome guests in the summer of 2024.

Inspired by simpler times, Beachside Hotel will boast upscale, spacious suites, single-family hotel rooms, open-air balconies, a newly constructed pool, a kid’s pool, gym, meeting space, courtyard, restaurant, bar, and game room—a perfect retreat for the entire family.

Guests can indulge in daily programming that encourages them to slow down and relish the moment. From lounging poolside to movie nights on the lawn and communal fire pits, the property aims to provide a haven where guests can unwind and create lasting memories.

Brad Guidi, Co-Founder and CDO of Blue Flag, emphasized the design’s focus on cultivating connections through recreation, creating outdoor spaces that inspire discovery. The hotel aims to offer a self-driven experience, evoking the feeling of the endless summers of childhood freedom.

Beachside Hotel joins Blue Flag Capital’s growing portfolio of hotels and inns across Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Montauk, Greenport, and Jackson Hole.

Jason Brown, Co-Founder & CEO of Blue Flag, expressed excitement about reopening the doors to this beautifully reimagined property. With immersive hangouts and tucked-away hideouts, Beachside aims to provide a tranquil getaway just a short distance from Jetties Beach.

Designed by Parts & Labor in collaboration with Brad Guidi, the hotel’s interiors draw inspiration from mid-century architecture. The unique design, featuring terracottas, gentle creams, dark greens, and natural woods, aims to create a fun, retro, coastal, and upscale atmosphere. The pool courtyard, with a mahogany deck and loungers, serves as the property’s centerpiece.

Blue Flag Capital, a hospitality-focused real estate private equity investment and development firm, is dedicated to rediscovering the soul of hospitality. Known for acquiring and repositioning assets in high-barrier-to-entry resort markets, Blue Flag also invests strategically in related operating companies and creates lifestyle brands like Faraway Hotels.
