There are wedding backdrops, and then there is the Nantucket shoreline. Katelyn and Jeff chose Sankaty Beach Club for their ceremony, a setting where the natural world does most of the decorating. Waves rolling in, salt air, and that particular quality of island light that feels both timeless and fleeting.
Their vows were exchanged surrounded by family and close friends, the kind of intimate gathering that lets every word land. It was unhurried and deeply personal, exactly what a Nantucket wedding should feel like.

After the ceremony, the celebration moved to Sankaty Golf Club, and the energy shifted with it. The tent glowed, the golf course rolled out in every direction, and guests settled in for an evening that moved from cocktail hour to dancing with easy, unhurried joy.
The design, orchestrated by Handy & Dallaire Events, had that rare quality of feeling effortless, as if the details had simply arranged themselves. Florals, table settings, lighting: all of it in service of the evening rather than competing with it.
Golden hour portraits on the course gave way to dinner and toasts, and by the time dancing started, everyone knew they were in the middle of something special.
