We spent a few days at @76MainNantucket and immediately fell into what we can only describe as Nantucket time. From being picked up at the ferry in the hotel’s signature Jeep to morning coffee in the quiet courtyard, every part of the stay was easy, thoughtful, and beautifully done. You’re just off Main Street, but it feels like a world away.

A Room You’ll Want to Stay In
Our room was bright, coastal, and quietly luxurious. From the curated artwork to the feather-free bedding and spa-quality bath products, everything felt intentional. Each room is uniquely styled—some reflect Nantucket’s literary roots, others nod to the island’s natural beauty.
We loved the mix of textures—from crisp white linens to soft woven throws. It felt thoughtful without being overdone. The blackout curtains and quiet location made for incredibly restful mornings.

Mornings in the Courtyard
Pastries, yogurts, fresh juice, and coffee from Nantucket Coffee Roasters are served each morning in a simple self-serve setup. You can grab and go—or sit and enjoy it in the bright, cheerful breakfast nook or courtyard.
We appreciated how relaxed it felt—no rush, no lines, just good food and fresh coffee in a pretty space. Everything was fresh, and there was always something gluten-free available too.

Mixer Hour, Snacks & BYOB Style
One of our favorite hotel extras? The BYOB Mixer Bar—set up nightly with artisan sodas, juices, and Bittermilk mixers, plus dried garnishes and sweet little nibbles like warm chocolate chip cookies and local snacks. It felt like hosting a pre-dinner cocktail hour… without lifting a finger.

The Inkwell Press Vibe
The common areas carry through the hotel’s literary theme—vintage typewriters, framed headlines, and books throughout. It’s cozy without being fussy, and the perfect place to sip coffee, catch up on a few pages, or just take a beat.
There’s something about flipping through a book beside an old typewriter that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another era. It’s not staged—it’s subtle, creative, and beautifully done.

Your Own Little Courtyard
This became one of our favorite places to be. We read books, sipped wine, and spent unhurried mornings with our sunglasses, a good book, and nothing on the schedule. At night, the fire pit came on and the courtyard lights set the tone for a soft, slow evening.
The courtyard really becomes its own little world. Whether you’re journaling in the morning or catching up with friends in the evening, it’s the kind of space that invites you to stay a little longer.

Just Steps from Everything
You’re within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the harbor, and everything downtown—yet somehow, it stays blissfully quiet. It’s the perfect home base whether you’re exploring ‘Sconset or heading out for sunset cocktails.
It was so easy to pop out for shopping, grab lunch, or head to an event—and then be back in minutes to reset. That mix of convenience and quiet made all the difference.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for a stay that’s well-located, beautifully designed, and rooted in what makes Nantucket so special, 76 Main should absolutely be on your list. It’s calm, coastal, and comfortable—exactly what an island stay should be. We already can’t wait to return.
