The winter is always a great excuse to head inland to enjoy the cozy seasonal charm of Vermont. From skiing and snow sports, to antiquing and museums, from fireside cocoas to syrup covered waffles, finding things to do is easy. Staying at a classic Bed & Breakfast is always the most intimate way to enjoy it all.
The Four Chimneys Inn, a gorgeous Georgian revival mansion, sits on 11 lush acres just over a mile outside the town of historic Bennington, VT. Owners Lynn and Pete Green purchased the property back in 2005 after falling in love with the town and the stunning grounds. The guest rooms are a unique assortment of elegant and country chic decor. We recently spent a very restful and quiet night followed by a magnificent and hearty country breakfast in the morning. The perfect way to chase away the winter blues.
