With 200 women and girls forced into the commercial sex trade every single day, it was time for action.
She listened to the heartbreaking story of a young woman rescued from the industry. Illiterate and without any skills, this woman begged for the chance to learn something that would give her independence and dignity. Vicki felt a calling to help her and others like her, and she wasted no time in getting started.
Following her faith, Vicki traveled to Bangalore, India, where she introduced Rahab’s Rope at a Christmas celebration. A hundred women, who had been used and abused their whole lives, saw a glimmer of hope in that moment. This was just the beginning.
