Easily one of our favorite coastal events of the year, the Bowen’s Wharf Seafood Festival, a two-day event in Newport, Rhode Island, has something for everyone – Delicious Food, Great Music, Plenty of Good Beer + Cheer, Boating, Beautiful Scenery, and more!
The Festival offers fresh, local seafood including fish tacos, lobster rolls, stuffies, chowder, fried calamari, clams, oysters, signature cocktails and cold beers. Other neighboring restaurants and fisherman’s associations serve up their most celebrated seafood dishes as well as a few dishes for landlubbers and kids. Frozen lemonade, donuts, and kettle corn for your sweet tooth. Cafe-style seating is set up throughout the Wharf and proceeds from festival bars benefit Oliver Hazard Perry, RI’s 200-foot official sailing education vessel.
Admission is FREE – Food and Beverages can be purchased at vendor booths. This event is RAIN OR SHINE under the Festival Tents.
