Fall and Camping go hand in hand in New England, and AutoCamp Cape Cod is the perfect way to enjoy both with a picturesque property that seamlessly blends the great outdoors with the comforts of home.
Located just minutes from from the center of Falmouth, MA, and 10 minutes from Woods Hole ferries, AutoCamp Cape Cod combines the feeling of getting away from it all, with the convenience of all that exploring Cape Cod has to offer.

There are a few options for accommodations on the property, but it’s the luxuriously appointed Airstream RV Suites that are the most popular. At 31 feet, the campers may seem small from the outside, but once inside you’ll find plenty of bright and spacious room throughout.
The camper features a plush convertible sofa (it opens to full size), a queen bed master that features high quality linens, end tables with lamps and USB outlets, and a wall tv with cable. The kitchenette has everything you need to make yourself right at home – silverware, dish and glassware, a French press (with a local favorite Snowy Owl coffee), kettle, cast iron pans, a microwave, and a mini fridge. There is also a small closet with room for your suitcase and clothes, as well as a safe for any of your valuables.
But it’s the spa inspired bathroom, with tiled walk in shower, full size sink and vanity that will have you temporarily forgetting you’re in the woods! Featuring Ursa Major toiletries (they are located all over the property), this is officially where camping upgrades to glamping.
Other comfort amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth speaker system, and heating/air conditioning controls with two zones that make it feel more like a cozy apartment no matter what temperature it is outside. Speaking of which, right outside your door is your own fire pit with a grill cover, chairs, a dining table with benches. Each camper comes with 2 logs and firestarters, with more available for purchase at the store in the clubhouse. We enjoyed cooking two great meals just steps from our camper.

Once you’ve unpacked and made yourself at home, you’ll want to explore the expansive property, in particular the clubhouse where you originally checked in.
The mid-century modern Clubhouse has several seating areas including couches, arm chairs, indoor fireplace, plenty of spots to relax with a book or play one of their board games, or grab a complimentary coffee, tea or cocoa. Head upstairs to take in the view that extends out to Vineyard Sound on the horizon.
Back inside, there is a general store that stocks snacks, treats, and other necessities for your stay, as well as fun souvenirs and books. In the morning, in addition to the hot beverages, they provide house made granola, with additional breakfast items available for purchase.
There is plenty to do for families including an outdoor playground, hiking trails, hammocks, community fire pits, and cornhole. We loved the large collection of bikes that you can take out for the day to ride the adjacent Shining Sea bike trail. Daily activities include morning yoga, campfire chats, acoustic music, movie nights, and pop up events.
We happened to stay during their Oyster Fest and got to sample a great selection of local oysters, chowder and lobster rolls from Sea State Foods. BYOB is encouraged and the colorful fall scenery with the Vineyard Sound in the background was exactly what this Fall adventure seeker was looking for!

Located just minutes from from the town center of Falmouth, MA, and 10 minutes from Woods Hole ferriaes, AutoCamp Cape Cod is accessible to all the great exploration that Fall on Cape Cod has to offer.
Grab one of the camp’s touring bicycles to explore the adjacent Shining Sea Bike Trail.
Hop in the car and head over to the historic and beautiful Nobska Light House that overlooks the Vineyard Sound and offers a cliff top view of Martha’s Vineyard.
Head into town to shop for gorgeous coastal jewelry and gifts at stores like The Gilded Oyster.
Take a short 10 minute drive over to one of the many breweries on Cape Cod, Naukabout Brewing Company, which offers great beer & spirits, bites and cornhole.

Oyster Shucking and Wine Pairing class:
oin Adam Dunn, Owner of The Pheasant and Dunn & Sons Wine for a hands-on oyster shucking and tasting class at Autocamp cape cod. Participants will learn all there is to know about these curiously delicious bivalves called oysters, and most importantly, how to properly and safely shuck them! Get ready to roll up your sleeves, this class is both an educational and fun hands-on lesson. You are guaranteed to successfully shuck and taste a whole bunch of delicious oysters!
Curated assortment of oyster-friendly wine will be provided.
October 1st – 31st
During the month of October, you can enjoy an on-site Pumpkin Patch located behind the Clubhouse on the Helm Lawn. Purchase your annual pumpkin or pose for your best Fall photos.

Packing for camping can sometimes present some challenges. Obviously you want to be comfortable – this is the wood’s after all! But the weather, no matter the season, can range widely, so layers are a key to success when putting together a checklist of what to bring.
We never have to look farther than Vineyard Vines for a wardrobe that strikes the perfect balance comfort and casual with just enough style when hitting the road and exploring.
From our carry bags, fleece and outerwear, we were completely covered for our entire trip.
Our latest go to for travel has been our Mark & Graham carry only suitcase. It packs a powerful punch in size and always fits seemlessly in any closet and overhead whenever we travel.
