Ever since discovering Rowayton because of their Dog Park and the Bacon, Egg & Cheese at the local food Market, I have spent many Sunday mornings down in this exquisite and charming little seaside town tucked into the cove along Three Mile River in Norwalk. I have obsessed over one of the houses that overlook the Bell Island Beach that sits right on the Long Island Sound, just a short walk from the center of town.
The house itself is a stunning Nantucket Style colonial, with exterior details that belong in Architectural Digest, and landscaping that is full of joy. But it’s the panoramic frontal views of the Sound that is the showstopper for this property. To say the view is perfection is an understatement. So to find out that my dream house was on the market, I was thrilled to be able to take a peek inside a house that is the epitome or waterfront living.
